Yes i would agree that Hawkes Point (46.64% as of 15/9/2020) may be pretty pissed off with OBM management for only discovering the poor (viscous) ore at Riverina during commissioning; after all Eastern Goldfields also had problems with production through the mill. It seems that Hawkes point have "stood aside" in the placement - read into this what you may; but it would appear that others (Perennial Value Management - 7.22% on 17/5/2021) have jumped in. Hawkes point sold down (ann 17/6) 6,125,000 shares in October/November 2020 but in November still held 39.86% of the company - I guess we will soon know what their current % is but as they did not partake in the placement they would now be diluted down to 30.4% - maybe they have been selling off more. Since Hawkes Point were involved in the Eastern Goldfields fiasco they would have got a lot of their shares a 15c - so I guess they have broken even until recently. I guess OBM management will not be too upset by Hawkes Point reducing their holding now that Perennial have stepped in (and also probably other institutions in the recent placement). What you have to understand is when share prices go up we buy and institutions sell to us. When prices go down us "retail" shareholders sell and the institutions buy; that's why we are called "retail investors" for a reason - they buy wholesale and we buy retail - let's defy the institutions and make them play on a level playing field!!
