The thing I find puzzling is people who are upset about late news?
Unless I'm corrected the headline safety results were targeted for by July 30th?
It's not yet July 30th so how can expectations be failed?
If the trial was not successful, it would have been stopped & announced accordingly by now.
Focus on what we know to help guide one's investment or trade...Let's deal in facts for a second.
Fact 1- The trial was going so well it moved to higher dosages.
Fact 2- Manufacturing had to be increased to keep up with demand.
Fact 3- In all announcements regarding progress of PTX-100 the CEO stated "No adverse reactions observed, nil".
Fact 4- Steven is on record recently as stating he hopes to secure approval for PTX-100 to move straight to a combined phase 2/3 trial.
Fact 5- Steven has stated results are in hand (obviously analysis of data being conducted before announcement), he seemed rather chuffed stating this vs grimacing.
I think when you look at the collective announcements & statements regarding PTX-100, it's looking overwhelmingly positive & everyone knows the longer it takes to deliver the results in biotech generally means the sweeter the fruit.
If one is a day trader, by all means divert the capital somewhere else. It's all about the volume & TA less about FA or announcements. I won't try to convince otherwise & I'm not impartial to fluid trading myself...But...In this instance I'm inclined personally to wait on the news...I'm happy to trade other capital & leave this parked right where it is because it's not everyday you find multi bagger potential with ptx's odds.
