@pintohoo; we may well be witnessing an historical demise of NSW since even if the current outbreak was turned around today it'll take at least six weeks of strategically planned support to enable recovery to something approaching what was there before. We all know that Liberals do not plan, as with conservatives in general, they do nothing until there's no choice. Then they react as with scattergun approaches.
That strategic planning is what Andrews signed Victoria up to in the midst of its second wave of Covid19 - a strategic plan they've followed ever since. Although Morrison interfered and terminated participation in China's 'Belt and Road' program, Victoria's 'Big Build' is unprecedented in scale and for enhancing productivity.
I suspect we're witnessing Melbourne replace Sydney as Australia's economic engine room.
