Unfortunately NUH appears hamstrung by chip supply issues affecting HP and has it's hands tied because:
- They can't publically disclose on HP's behalf the details surrounding the supply issue.
- They know full well most investors primary focus is on the OEM deal and revenue it would create.
- They are more than likely bound by confidentiality regarding any detail as to when the supply issues can be resolved as it would be market sensitive to HP.
Thankfully confidentiality has prevented any major run up and subsequent please explain letters from the ASX et al. Be thankful the NUH market has never traded on company stated expected HP numbers, just speculation as there would be much higher bag holders at this point in time.
What was likely the biggest driver of group revenue is now nothing more than an open ended question mark. Many many companies have ceased collecting any revenue whatsoever for extended periods due to the worldwide chip supply issues. NUH has their DTC operation to provide a buffer but any notion of breakout growth via HP will now depend entirely on that company being able to build their laptops with available parts.
I was half expecting this. The communication is poor, but that is due to the minefield they're walking when discussing HP company sensitive information.
Sold half my shares Monday and will look to re-buy on confirmation of laptops shipping.
