I was thinking about how it was notes we have a 50/50 entitlement to any sale of the JV venture so what could it be worth?
One of the reports (page 19 on 31/05/2021) noted if we have 15,000 subscribers it is $5.2 million revenue on lowest cost plan and say $1.5 million operating profit. Hence we have shipped close to 70,000 units and once these are all sold and subscribing (lets assume 60,000 subscribers) overall JV operating profit could easily be $5 million being conservative. Now this is for the JV as a whole and as a stack of this is North American/Canada we won't see this as a distribution BUT we own 50% of this all the same so if it is $5 mill a year cash cow you would think it may be worth $50-$60 million as an entity quite easily? Our 50% share means we could sell off the JV and almost pay shareholders 40c and retain the rest of the business.
Does this make sense to others? Do you agree there is a lot of value there by thinking about it from this abgle?
