Yes I do try and post on stocks I actually hold, but those companies do everthing and more I expect from a company I hold.
Hmm tls every piece of news I read is so easy to post on because tls doesn't do anything I expect, and made worse when one looks at the obvious opportunities.
You have cba complaining about applepay,of course u do but thodey said leave nfc to the banks now the banking apps are not competitive and will never be because banks are not tech co's.(yes tls still has tls lab) tls should have continued the development of nfc under trujillo as japan and korea did.You would have had one tls established payment app covering all banks years before applepay etc entered the market.
I read the digicel suggestion is for tls to pay $500m and the govt will give tls a loan of $1.5bwith cheap interest rates ie approx 3%.Is that fixed or variable ? .So 2 billion for buying a out dated telco covering the pacific islands.
What I would like to read from tls and tls energy.Energy australia is building a 300mgw hybrid gas/hydrogen power plant in woolongong to provide base load electricity for surrounding industry. This is clean energy especially when run on hydrogen.(clearly energy australia believe the plant is commercially viable and so do i)
The govt apparently has plans to build a similar but double the size plant 600mgw in the hunter valley at a cost of $600m.
For me I would like to see tls build that hunter valley plant, imo it would be the start of long term tls energy infrastructure to anchor tls's energy division.
imo only i'm more than happy for tls to buy and re sell solar/wind electricity but not buy the renewables infrastructure as i don't like its short term life and imo the serious health issues of the blades and recycling issues.
I would tell the govt tls will build the hunter plant for $600m ,tls will buy red energy for ? and u (the govt)can buy yr dudd digicel and rename it pacific nbn.
