Wow you are very brave recommending 88E ... i'm in there with a tiny stake based on a dud tip-off and only stay in for it's amusement value. It's widely recognised (even inside the HC thread!) as a pump-and-dump stock. Latest 'pump' phase ended abruptly with a poorly-documented 'equipment failure'. Currently plateaued, supposedly waiting for the Alaska winter to harden the ground for drilling to resume and actually identify some actual oil.

The last two 88E'pump' phases, coincidentally or not, commenced immediately prior to national holidays in US and Oz and 'dumped' on the first working day thereafter in each case ...

Anyhoo ... off-topic but to get it back on-topic ... do you really think the helium vs oil&gas thing works here?

There's the obvious difference that fossil fuel exploration is politically and ecologically on the nose (witness the Biden suspension of permits) and faces apparently terminal challenges on the demand side while the supply is elastic. I'd agree that anyone covers their stake out of an oil play would be well-advised to secure that stake in cash pronto.

Helium in contrast appears to be a diminishing resource with a rising demand side and would seem to be a 'hold' proposition until some alternative appears ... and alternatives on both supply or demand side seem very unlikely to happen in either a fast or furious fashion.

More specifically to BNL, my understanding is that our claims are less speculative than a 'normal'l mining play, being adjacent to proven reserves and ... stretching my technical understanding to the limit here ... contained within a well-established geological structure that's proven to retain our slippery gas.

Personally i'm a greedy pig and plan to hold 100% through the permit to the first gusher (or 'hisser' or however they describe helium coming out fast) and then cover my stake by (hopefully) selling far fewer shares.

But of course DYOF (inancial planning).
