Pasboz - it is an interesting point you raise.
One comment would be given the precarious financial nature of the La Trobe valley brown coal power stations there interest in a potential $200m in 10 years time may not be very high.
There interest would be focused on short term revenue increases - perhaps they are looking for a substantial upfront payment to access coal? The bankers would likely line up behind such a position as it in their own interests as well.
