I think our CEO has been speaking at the right events/forum. Back in May I thought he was the best speaker at the evercore fireside/Q&A panel alongside Francois Vigneault, CEO of Shape.
I thought PYC outshone but the true winner was Francois who came out smiling, banking US$112m cash soon after to fund Shape’s “(RNA) delivery platform” it was strange as that was Sahm’s emphasis regarding PYC’s problem solving edge - he must have took detailed notes from PYC/Sahm’s pitch and successfully ran with it
I thought Sahm performed well that day - he did seem a little edgy as he was the only non clinical scientist CEO on that panel - and articulated the RNA delivery problem the best - either way this validates investor appetite to back solutions in this emerging (v.early days) arena.
The sooner we can have data from current Tox and enter Phase 1/2 plus have some demonstrated ability to replicate/scale/factorise our RNA Therapeutics delivery platform (what happened with PYC-001? and 002… 003…) the sooner Perth will give birth to a global RNA unicorn and investors will value us appropriately.
