I re-read Parsi's advice and what she said makes a lot of sense - maybe do some more reading and observing yourself, too - taking just one multi-vitamin is a good idea.
I have been good with my diet this week, but today I had bits of pork belly roast (still lots left over) - and boy did I enjoy eating the crackling etc.

I have acquaintances who are much younger than myself - but both the husband and wife suffered from cancer some years ago - almost simultaneously - both used to eat a lot of those continental small goods, sausage meats etc. They have recovered remarkably well, but now take great care about what they eat - and they use a lot of vitamins daily. He sent me photos of all the vitamins they take - not at once - at certain meals only - and they do the long fast overnight - last meal at 6 pm - breakfast not before 9 the next morning. This is easy to do. The husband claims specific vitamins etc helped him get rid of very bad osteoarthritis as well. He swears by 'Curcumin' for example - which I use in cooking every now and then, but not daily.

Mmm those salami types of things I always avoid, they look like the kiss of death to me, so not hard to resist at all.
I am sorry about your friends, but cheered to hear that they are getting better.
I do have quite a belief in vitamins, so I am a little unsure about giving up the ones which I have carefully chosen over the years for just a multivitamin, I really need to think a bit about this.

But for your friends or anyone who wishes to avoid cancer. Do please read about apricot kernels. Of course, the same old song by big Pharma, oh heaven help us, they contain arsenic. Well so do apple pips. But you can buy these from a reputable company in Australis and grind them up and add just a tsp to your breakfast. We have heaps in the fridge which we have not used for a while. They are labelled as just a body scrub or some similar nonsense.

But as always everyone has to research for theirselves.

Yes circumin, which I believe is the same as turmeric? I use several times a week, but it is only effective if mixed with black pepper.
It can be added to so many meals.

I just found out yesterday that a dear friend of mine (male) who I have not seen for decades has prostrate cancer, his prostrate has been removed. So very sad, he was an amazing athlete when we were all teenagers and we all used to go and watch him sprint at Crystal Palace track in London. But then stress. life and booze etc took over, he has been in poor health for a very long time. I met him when I was just 16. He was a friend of my ex husbands. We two couples almost grew up together and had so much fun!

Sorry to be sentimental, but I first met his lovely girlfriend in a pub in London and this song so reminds me of all the brilliant times and holidays which we spent together having fun
