    What was the multinational company you refer to as going Bust? You fail to mention the many major companies that have not gone bust. Many companies in crowded markets or ineffective marketing go bust in every sector. Yes the daigou trade has been affected badly however this provides a forced opportunity for companies to diversify markets and within China to open more retail linked options. Further tourism around the world will boom once vaccination rates reach 70% and the UK opening up is extremely positive on this.

    In terms of A2 mixing milk this is standard . It allows many diary companies and farmers the opportunity to partner up and produce milk according to certain specifications. This is efficient and keeps costs down. A2 milk production depends on the growth of these many partnerships. Formulae is a very specialised product and has many additives. Obviously infants are not just fed milk.

    All milk is not the same what goes into it varies. Further to this and what we with A2 China does not have is the green pastures with mainly free range cows in less pesticide ridden NZ land reveals a wonderful source of enzymes giving NZ diary the reputation for goodness it has.

    The China A2 milk production has increased because A2 milk is better digested .https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20201016-why-china-developed-a-fresh-taste-for-milk;

    "An intriguing little detail in all this frothy commerce is that many people in China, like much of Asia, are lactose intolerant. Human children produce an enzyme that allows them to digest milk, but in much of the world, its levels taper off as they grow up.People of European descent are somewhat unusual in that they mostly continue to digest dairy effortlessly as adults. In China, a much-cited study estimated that 92% of adults had trouble absorbing lactose; more recently, China’s preventative medicine agency suggested that by the time kids are 11 to 13 years old, around 40% have lost the ability to digest it. There are many Chinese studies saying the same. India interesting a high Dairy intake country has largely a2 cows.
    China has a long way to go before it can come near to providing enough supply. In fact local production only increases awareness of the benefit of a2 milk there increasing the market. Educated discerning city dwellers can make their own choices of NZ vs Chinese cows as its source and any preferred additives to the final blended product.
