My reading of the announcement is that they've drilled to 1768.8m. At ~1765 they hit the target birkhead sandstone and had oil shows (a good thing!). They're currently pulling out so that they can take a core sample.
Maybe they're doing this because at Snatcher-1 they had 2 mechanical failures trying to run a DST. I don't know, i'm just guessing at this stuff. Would love to hear a more informed opinion!
