May I say in closing that I believe in horses for course. This BOD and management may well do well in an environment like Australia. Were I in legal trouble in WA the Chairman would be the first bloke I would go to, cap in hand. But I just don't think that a lawyer's training is the ideal start for the corner cutting under the table rough and tumble world of the Philippines. And I see nothing that has proved my opinion wrong. I have nothing against these blokes but I would not have chosen them for this job. None of that I would personally call a criticism. Complimentary even. The previous Chairman was ..well maybe less gentlemanly. I have no idea how he was booted out , maybe a majority shareholder, who would know? And because a tap was left on by a local and a tailings wall shifted was it? Long time ago. We have had mine walls fall in since then and other utter catastrophes without a peep from anyone. Always perplexed me but here we are. I would have preferred that management of this mine had been given to someone willing to try for the prize and a new company raised for this new venture to accommodate those who prefer less risk. But sadly it was not to be. So here we are. Perhaps I am in the minority but at least I am among like minded people.
