Covid has been in the community for close to 2 years. I know nobody who has had it.
The smoking reference was to illustrate that education and choice has been the federal choice. The states can ban smoking in places but can’t ban the sale of cigarettes to my knowledge. But they can make it more difficult to smoke.
Where does smoking and covid fit into my illustration? It’s about education and choice, that’s all. The feds can educate us and leave us to choose, just as they do with smokes that kill and harm far more people.
There has to be an end to restrictions. I’m not confident there will be regardless of how many people get vaccinated. Because there will be another variant that gives another excuse to restrict our freedoms.
