We just need a Labor win in both houses and tax these bastards and teach them a lesson in humility.
Glencore has just won a court decision against the ATO that alleged that it was transfer pricing via its Swiss marketing hub. We badly need a tightening of legislation to enable the ATO to do its job. IMO a flat tax based on Aus revenue is the best bet and then they can employ whatever tax minimisation tactics they fancy! Glencore turns over $20 Billion P/A in Aus and 10% of that would be a lazy $2 billion for the taxpayer; 7 times what it paid in 2019/20
