Probably not an extinct dinosaur straight away because even if you soon won't be buying new ICE vehicles they will still be on the roads for many years yet. Certainly I would expect the majority of motels to have a charge point at every room, it will become like AirCon and Internet. Some people will still want to drive their EVs 1000km or more a day which will still require pit stops ideally at a decent sized fast charger which will probably be located at a highway service station.
