hard to say without knowing, but to speculate if there is foul play here and it isn’t around cooking the books a class action could be on the cards as shareholders have lost a lot and the company has assets and cash to be sued for. In this scenario it’s not good for a directors reputation and if foul play is at hand they could be in breach of the corporation act 2001.
