grahamc58 probably means that we aren't out of the woods yet. Weather wise its looking like they have the window they need to make their repairs as long as nothing changes. I'm hoping that they overestimated their repair time so 2 weeks is the maximum amount of time they need. I lived in Manila (Philippines) most of my life which isn't very near Palawan but the weather there should be similar. This time of the year typhoons are more frequent and are usually more violent. We can get typhoons at other times of the year but if, once the fix is in place, we can last until October we should be fairly safe until typhoon season next year.
