I don't have a view on a time or price, but do agree that there is, or will likely be an opportunity.

My reservations in entering too early are:
1) that SUR has a diversity of opportunities (other than Thailand) on which it has a long track record of burning cash and dissapointing.
2) no-one knows what they will discover, or how many wells before anything exciting if there
3) will SUR need to raise cash for the drilling
4) will it focus on Thailand if it succeeds there, or sconder any cashflow elsewhere

Atm SUR stays on my "outer" watch list. Not even ready to refresh my research (last nearly 2 years ago).

As for CVN in the 40's, well not saying it will get there, or that I will see compelling buying if it does, but it will certainly get my attention again if it looks like going there. I still think mc relative to POE is a ballpark to be ignored only by the brave - totally out of whack when it approached 90.
