You are dealing with emotions, not facts. "The federal government should take the lead". Spoken like someone who has no idea how the US system works. Why didn't Biden put a law in place when he took office to make masks mandatory for every American when they left their home, no matter where they were? Does Biden not care about killing grandma?
Either:
A - Biden wants to kill grandma; or
B - he doesn't have the authority to do that/states can tell him to jam it
