I hold, and do follow Morningstar recs. But I would also add they have always been quite bullish on energy companies. Maybe a slight institutional bias??
For a while I also followed an approach of just buying what Brokers recommended where butressed by other forms of intelligence. I have to say Morningstar contributed to some of the worse failures in my portfolio, notably one they recommended at around $1.20 which is now trading at 16c.
I still hope they/you are right.....
