My new shares were allocated yesterday. I applied for and received the 1 for 7 allocation and applied for another 40% or so as shortfall. I have received about 60% of that 40% - not sure what weird arithmetic has been used, but I count myself lucky to have received any shortfall allocation at all. I have been burned numerous times by the "at the absolute discretion of the company" clause: it's usually code for "We and our mates will keep the lot".
