As detailed in a number of previous market releases the precursor goes through a calcination process, which typically involves heating in an oxygen free environment, to remove further impurities and heated to 1250c to dry the precursor into a powder, ie finished HPA product.

As indicated in your post there is a market for precursor material by manufacturers of cathodes.

With 5N HPA precursor going in then there is a very high chance finished 5N HPA product will be produced, so getting the precursor right is critical.
