well yes I was teasing a bit. Ganfeng at something like $28billionAUD is a big boy in the world of Lithium, vertically integrated.
Talga market cap $420m AUD, vertically integrated in the graphite- anode world.
Price per tonne of lithium hydroxide and anode is roughly similar $10k- $11k per tn.
Breakdown cell costs are similar as well.Pie chart to RHS.( NCM).
Of course bottlenecks in lithium sector a issue, but with CBAM and battery passport in the EU soon to be in place the ESG issues will severely inhibit China ( 85% of world graphite anode prod’n).
So there's critical issues on the anode side as well.
