Kinsevere Financing - Strategic Alliance with Trafigura.

Event.
Anvil announced before market opened on Aug 10 that an agreement with Trafigura Beheer B.V. was reached for a combined debt and equity financing arrangement for an aggregate
amount of US$200 million. The proceeds allow Anvil to recommence construction of the 95% owned Kinsevere Stage II 60,000 tpy copper SX/EW project.

Action.
We reiterate our STRONG BUY rating and C$4.00 target price. In our view, the proposed transaction removes significant financing uncertainty and allows Anvil to finally move ahead with the business of mining by providing funds for advancing Kinsevere to production by 2011.
