To wit, another example - source: Reuters 4/8/2021. DHL Express have just ordered 12 electric cargo planes from German firm Eviation to establish the first electric airfreight service - set to become operational in 2024.
Barely 4/5 years ago the analysts, including aviation analysts, said it could never be done - and yet...Clearly, an advancement of this nature will set a precedent and competition with the other big freight companies for short-haul airfreight that can land 24/7 given these planes are whisper quiet and incur no landing restrictions due to noise limitations at airports.
