It is an odd way to dump half a million shares though.
I don’t usually subscribe to price manipulation too much but surely you’d realise that by putting such a large order in that if some people with smaller parcels wanted out they’d just jump ahead of you?! Which would only bring the price down further and cause you to take a discounted price. If you can’t anticipate that, then how do you have the conviction to buy ~500,000 units in the first place? That stinks
its hard not to view it as price manipulation but there’s also the near term disappointment that the co just spat out.
we have something like 100m shares on issue! 500,000 shares is relatively sizeable especially considering the top 20 own something like 75% of SOI.
On the road so can’t see the breakdown of the 2 orders but I’m assuming 1 of them if 95% of the line
