Fred did explain the commercial and operational advantages of the AKP sound device v conventional analogue speakers for mobile devices at the May 2019 AGM. From memory the three key UCD's were sound quality, quantity and power usage at 20% of conventional analogue speaker for inferior performance specs. We would have to assume, given subsequent development gains these differences would still hold true today even with subsequent advances in analogue speaker technology, mainly miniturisation.
