Economists, analysts, politicians have much to say, but I prefer listening to what the market tells me.

It's in the market that trading dollars are made.

When there are so many bearish posts...I can't help thinking that we are about to rally again!!

Just a little rant about Marius Kloppers and BHP....

No doubt many of us think we would do a better job running the company (like very voter thinks he/she can do a better job running the country).

And bravado confidences are boosted by the mistakes Mr Kloppers made with Rio, and Ravensthorp.

I continue to give him and the board the benefit of the doubt.

To run a global conglomorate like BHP, balancing dynamics on massive scales in the developed and developing world---well, they deserve every cent of their pay cheque.

As shareholders and traders we are focused on today's, tomorrow's and next week's share price.

Yet to deliver today's, tomorrow's and next week's share price (despite the efforts of shorters, lol) the BHP board has to plan decades ahead.

Its mantra is to be ever ready, to be well placed to deliver and meet future demand.

Planning yesterday, spending billions today, to deliver the goods tomorrow.

    Well done Marius and co.
