All we don't know now is the level of shorts closed between the 29th and today. It was 4.9 days to cover from the 29th data, but the volumes rose significantly after the 30th, and a lot could have easily covered in the following days. It will be interesting to see how many short positions did actually get closed in those volume candles on 2/3/4 August. I hope it's 50% at least, but i highly doubt it.
