Also, Perdaman have raised $1billion for a urea plant in WA, with construction earmarked to begin in Q12022.

I only raise this because it might make sense for them to switch their capital to Strike (if they can at this late stage), otherwise they will be in direct competition with a company/project with access to its own cheap supply of gas. I can't actually find any information on whether FID has be taken by Perdaman though.

My overarching point, is that there is a lot of capital hovering about that has been earmarked for urea (and the conversion of cheap gas into chemical feedstocks like methanol). And that others see potential in the urea sector too.

My thinking is that at some stage in the not to distant future (6 - 9 months ) STX has to become ripe for an agreed merger / takeover. On the assumption of course that the current plans come to fruition.
