i think the us 500 hits at least 4600 and gold 2000-2300 before year end
if it was a normal economic cycle I’d be thinking that to be the trigger like 29-30
but this entire cycle is slower and longer than normal because of the ultra accommodative rates and money pumping
thats different to any other cycle in modern history
so it could be 29-30 but looks more like 1999-2002 with a rolling bear correction in non mining shares but the major indexes just go nastily sideways in a saw pattern for a few years while sub indexes underneath go through big bear moves
that’s what happened in 15/16 actually
that likely would be an amazing setup for pm stocks
at some point there’ll be a full market puke - but fresh liquidity 99% trumps fundamentals - so fomc can likely keep market intact as long as it’s willing to print unless there’s an underlying catastrophic issue
but simply being overvalued isn’t enough to collapse market if fed has money flowing
