British tycoon Richard Branson has reportedly paid a record $16 million for an apartment in Sydney's The Rocks area.

The Virgin founder is believed to have bought the luxury apartment in the Harry Seidler-designed Cove development, The Australian Financial Review reported today.

Forget about spending a penny - the apartment has five toilets costing $14,000 each.
