Al here....I've been off the grid for awhile, but I'm back now and raring to go...so what's the SP now?....$1.56!...that's not bad...so I guess we've got all the red tape done n dusted and hence the rise in SP....HANG ON A BIT...WHAT!?..IT'S ONLY $0.56!!.. NOT $1.56!!...Geezus!...
So, where to from here?...I mean there's only so many good-news Wednesdays in the Spanish calendar.
Ah but, the thing about the Human Condition is that we can convince ourselves of anything...eg "it's not a race..it's a stroll-out". So let's now convince ourselves that we are investment gurus more atuned to wise long term investment with a focus on recurring dividend income rather than the some-what crass notion of quick one-off capital gain.
To that end, could the boys n girls who really know stuff, consult their charts and fire up their other analytical tools..(avoid those charts and other tools used in the recent past to misguidedly predict capital appreciation).. and tell us borne-again dividend chasers when to expect our first dividend cheque and how large will it be...I guess you need not try to predict the amount of any dividend imputation credits because of carry-forward losses and, being based off-shore, Oz tax payments should be pretty slim.
So there you go....didn't "Monty and the Pythons" have a hit with the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"?..
I know I do, and, just between you n me, I am quietly confident of luxuriating with hot and cold Sangrias as I receive a continuous stream of HFR dividend cheques starting from my 120th birthday.
