I think banks globally have had it too easy for too long and have become complacent. Their profits have been too easy. Their bonuses too easy to achieve. It's only a matter of time till BNPL realy shake things up. Also perhaps they will start to look at TO seeing as most are getting out of other business models like insurance and financial planning. They also gave a lot of cash behind them at the moment especially the Aussie banks seeing as they haven't been paying proper dividends.
