yep, its possible, It could be the start of a new uptrend.
but I always like to wait for confirmation. either through countback line techniques and maybe a price pattern that we can definitely say "Yes" this was a bottom. (i.e. converging trendlines and then a massive breakout to the upside on volume for HDR would definitely be positive)
I might miss out on a bit of profit, but I've just become more cautious of late.
But I know for certain that sometimes a really great piece of news comes out and everyone sells on it. Its the buy the rumor sell the fact scenario, and I've seen it countless times. Sometimes the anticipation of something good is better than the actual event. It's like people have already priced it into the share.
I have no idea whether HDR is like this or not, but I'm a technical analyst first and foremost.
