Before BetMakers there was a company called TopBetta……which was a bookmaker that had developed their own software.

Now TopBetta decided to focus on providing their software and data as a service and give up the B2C bookmaking (as it is a competitive market)……..a couple of BET employees decided they liked bookmaking and bought that side of the business and called themselves PlayUp……….the B2B side of TopBetta bought some strategic companies (Dynamic Odds, Global Tote. etc) and became BetMakers…………….the Sportech Acquisition is the most transformational purchase to date.

BET don’t need PlayUp….so I wont speculate….but if PlayUp want to offer Fixed-Odds they will have to contract BET.
