Dear readers - sorry in advance for this long post - I got a bit carried away.

CT - leaving rau aside for a moment, do I take from what you are saying that all western based companies should avoid sovereign risky countries like Bolivia for ever? If so doesn't this mean the populace in these countries will be forever be relegated to "never developing" status, that their levels of education, health, etc will continue to be at the lowest end of the spectrum? (Ive worked in a number of these countries at the poorest level on earth, I will send you picture if you would like, I have been their advocate formally in different roles , I have least covered most of the major Asian countries 30 times each, doing about 8-10b in deals for mutliantionals, I fully support the productive development of all countries, although I admit I side the indigenous more often than not. I have not been to Bolivia , but frankly gold mine worry me in these kind of countries, their track history which I wont go into here are not stella)

Shouldn't western based companies (and their investors, banks and shareholders) be encouraged to go into these countries (admittedly with their eyes wide open) and help these countries exploit their natural resources so everyone can be a winner? (Yes of course they should the point here being that the outcomes in Bolivia are completely unknown, thats the reality, the drama surrounding the history adds to the risk, the basis of the dispute after all was modern mining methods and RAU plan an epiphany of moden open cut, its logical that they would have something to say about that, then we have reports, however stong or weak that JKs rubbing folks the wrong way, instead of mobilizing dump trucks he should be showing us how he is getting there)

Gone are the days I think due to the advances in communication, the internet, etc that companies can ignore their social and enviornmental responsibilities because they simply won't get away with it - information moves too fast, and they will be brought to account.(true)

I don't think any shareholder of rau thinks Amayapampa is a walk in the park to develop. (they certainly dont know :))Shareholders have elected (yes they weren't forced to)

to buy rau shares because they see some potential profit. They see a bunch of people who know more about bolivia than anyone on the rau thread (at least as i can discern) and as a board and mangement team (not just JK I am guessing, unless RAU is also a dictatorship) have decided to proceed.
(so all those good sir should sit down and look at their strategy because they dont seem to show much sense...like give me a break dump trucks?)

Like any management decision, you get it right sometimes and you get it wrong sometimes - only time will tell. You seem to think your crystal ball is so superior to anyone elses (including rau board and management) that they need to get out now and stop wasting shareholders money - that (I think) is your opinion.

(I Just think they are nongs, yes of course you make decisions and some are right and some are wrong, but there are fundamentals, thats the craft , you look ahead and figure the angles, these guys are like souths in the 80s)

It just so happens that others hold different opinions contrary to yours but you seem to think that they must therefore be the RAU HC PR squad and need to exposed for the fraudulent activity they are conducting (ie duping poor little HC people about RAU). Strange...

    (how come it seems strange?)

( I guess my complaint is with the marketing, you and me both know that this is know way risk secured , three trucks and a right to chat doenst bring home a mine next year with 15M of equipment tundling into town , its that simple. )

As a matter of curiosity CT have you conducted this level of campaign against any other company on HC? I find it hard to think that RAU in your opinion is so fundamentally worse than every other company on the ASX that RAU is your chosen one.

(no maybe against gold in the gold thread you will find some good maps and charts on that thread)

Anyway, like most others I continue to watch the skirmish between yourself and the so-called RAU PR squad - I am sure I could use my time better though.(Yeah I know I will fade w=away soon as the regulars know then they sigh and pretend I dont exist)

    :)

(I will get bored soon and take leave :)
