Gee, you post a nice thank you and you die hards come out, all guns blazing. I honestly thought I would never offload my HEGOB's but I saw a chance and did just that. I just wanted to thank somebody. You need to remember it's not just about buying. When options are close to the expiry date, they will trade at a discount to the heads. And the closer the date, the larger the discount. As you know, this is because many option holders have no intention of paying up. They are just after a trade and will need to offload them at some stage. When the options are 'out of the money', volume is low and it's hard to sell at a decent price. I'm glad I can still buy a new car with my sale.
Opaline, I decided to have a look at your history and it appears you have a real love affair with HEG. There's nothing wrong with that, however it can cloud reality. You have 'estimated' many figures that just don't pan out, sorry to say. I thought I'd go a year back on your posts. This is what I found -
What heads grades are HEG achieving now and were your figures that "conservative"?
I also found that you believed HEG was 'cash flow' positive more than 6 months ago. And yet, they are still a long way from that but I'm sure your 'figures' show a different scenario. Here's the real figures from the last quarterly:
