Regarding your comment about white collar crime on the other thread, IMO quite a lot of drug money here and o/seas was siphoned through our market during the boom as they used to do with the casinos. Money laundering was rife. Nothing can be proven and a few journos were onto it, but were jimmied IMO. I am unsure whether it was white collar but stand-over tactics were not uncommon IMO. The rabbit has run now (not with your baby) but with others as they pulled the pin when it got rough and went o/seas to escape again, some time ago. It was a real learning lesson for me. It's a dirty game for the pennies and management expertise, ethics and know how are now thankfully No.1 intangibles for investors again IMO...of course until, the market becomes ridiculous again (easy to say in hindsight).
