Minerjoe
I measured the volume of a "truck" (kibbles they call them at MS) and calculated each one was good for about 1.2 tonne maximum (it seems those kibbles were designed for one imperial ton) and also reckoned that those kibbles could be easily made bigger in height or they could make up a few new ones to be sure of carrying more than one tonne
hoist speed by observation was about 1 metre/sec
mining from the upper levels probably averages out at 100 metres of hoisting
cycle time including loading and unloading would equal about 300 seconds (5 minutes)
that's about 12 lifts per hour equals about 12 tonnes per hour
operate the hoist for 8 hours per 24 hour day equals about 100 tonnes/day
from memory that headframe has two separate winders
Ok back to the AFL footy :)
