fully agree fhc. the only thing id add us that perhaps pcr was a better choice when trying to keep an absolute zero level of virus in the community. the repetitive test strategy has two problems which in the past would have meant too great a paradigm shift
- a day or two of positive in the community would still lead to a lockdown - does not facilitate contact tracing as people are not sitting at home waiting for tests.
these are based on what jurisdictional health system rules are followed but it would be safe to say rats will only be employed if they help limit lockdowns and downtime. this is how they will be sold to us.
