I think I recall not long ago that after the Baycorp acqusition was made, CCP reported without a 'normalised' 'underlying' figure backing out the costs of transaction. That kind of thing is quite rare. In terms of the competitior blow ups, yes despite the lack of CCP KMP equity holdings the conservative treatment and track record is comforting.
