Our new sales guy before Telstra was at ERoad. ERD ASX. It’s a few years back so not as much a direct comment on him but I had a look at ERD and they provide a very interesting value comparison to where BCC could be in the future

they provide vehicle solutions (dash cam / tracking etc) predominately in NZ (see graph below) but also USA and v early days in Australia.

why this is interesting is it shows just within Aus / NZ the way a business of far bigger scale can be built in these enterprise markets

1) ERD $560m market cap v BCC $19m (30 x)
2) ERD $90m revenue v BCC $18m? (5x)
3) ERD ARPU $58.3 p/m BCC ARPU $45 p/m
4) ERD total devices 126k / BCC shipping 70k this year but what would be the actual comparison would be AUT/NZ devices when we get to 15k plus

a quick scan of ERD shows not only how the business has grown the last 7 years but current valuation. It gives a very comparable base to where BCC COULD maybe be in 5-7 years time based off increasing B2B enterprise and govt sales which would be a share price of $7.50
