they spent a fortune, over $1.8B on these assets, upgraded the mills, drilled new resources.
They were onto a winner. A mass producer at world class grades & plants to compete with BHP in Australia.
then NP dropped & DS swooped at the perfect time claiming poverty only $4M cash at bank & Norilsk wanted out of the west & BHP was selling NWest.
now POS can be THE ONLY competitor to BHPs monopoly & BHP knows it.
BHP would love our ore said PH.
BHP would love our plants, resources, 6 mines & would make a fortune from them no doubt.
Who has the balls to compete & take on BHP?
