Do you really think that 8 billion humans, the most ever, and all those that came before us, and their destructive morays will have NO EFFECT on the biosphere? Are you this crazy?

Get down behind an idling car, better still Nissan patrol diesel; and breathe in the fumes coming out of the exhaust. How do you feel after 1 min? Now think about the 5 billion vehicles, ships, planes, coal fired power stations, steel factories running all day every day, month after month. year after year. Think about the polar regions of the planet turning black - no longer reflective white - and the vast amounts of fresh water melting into the oceans and upsetting the alkaline balance. Think about the release of vast amounts of methane from melted Greenland and all the cattle, livestock across the planet emitting more of it. Think about the release of carbon from all the bush fires: Greece, California, the Amazon, let alone Australia.

I realize these concepts are disturbing, that's why you deny them to yourself. Work for an insurance company and study the rising cost of premiums and think about why.
