I think there must be two levels of shareholder financial communication going on?
1 Sophisticated shareholders. Certainly enough information to make them commit to in investing in Animoca and probably to satisfy their ongoing duty of care responsibilities to their respective organisations - possibly made available in a "commercial in confidence" nature. Reason for saying that - there doesn't appear to have been any leaks. Maybe just a conspiracy theory. who knows?
2 "Unsophisticated" shareholders. We grab at any scraps of financial info we come upon (like seagulls on the beach) share them and dissect them as best we can with our limited knowledge of what is going on.
