Just a reminder to everyone that International Energy Agency's comprehensive report in May titled "Net Zero by 2050" stated that:
"Beyond projects already committed as of 2021, there are no new oil and gas fields approved for development in our pathway, and no new coal mines or mine extensions are required".
So long as KP gets Pep-11 approved before the end of 2021, it complies with this objective. In terms of timing I'd say that KP would want there to be some time to lapse between announcing the approval and before the Glasgow Climate Change Conference in November. JMO.
