Perhaps the current data suggests the additional recruits won't add any significant information, but will increase the duration and cost with no actual benefit to any party. With covid being front and centre, all other treatments are in the back of peoples minds and this could be potentially disastrous for the population. This test being easy, clean, accurate, quick, could put a rocket under peoples bum (excuse the pun), to get tested for colon cancer. My only concern is it still needs to be done at the GP, and they are very reluctant to see anybody at the moment. Older people generally dont want to be 'a nuisance', particularly men. Is there a chance a pharmacy could administer the test?
