Not sure what u want me to tell. My question is fairly general, albiet more on technical terms & its upto Deepz to answer that, however given the level of abuse he copped last time on this thread, little wonder if he would bother sharing with this forum the details on routine subsea pipeline maintenance works etc.
For now NXS have already informed the mkt that the pipeline instal is complete, but not tested. There's still a fair way to go, since the operator has to meet critical safety conditions b4 opening the pipeline.
Its like y'r water mains, last thing u want is a loose fitting somewhere to cause a burst. Get my point, thats all I wanted to know.
I understand how pipelines are maintained frm a layman's perspective, atleast BP's longest pipeline the Trans-Alaskan pipeline. But the Tundra is different then the choppy waters of the Bass Straits, hence my question.
Dont see any harm in picking someone's brain !!
